About the role

We are looking for a talented legal counsel to join our dynamic team. Your position and work will be essential to help us build new national and international partnerships, develop risk management, ensure compliance, and further develop the legal team. You will be working in a small and driven team, directly reporting to senior management or the Board. Your internal and external stakeholders are e.g. project leaders, customers and partners (small innovative firms, as well as established brands), with whom you will be building contractual solutions for partnerships and ensuring compliance with the Swiss financial law. As legal counsel, you have the opportunity to get hands-on experience in the Swiss Finance industry, Insurance, and InsurTech market and have a direct impact on developing a startup that is operating in a complex legal environment.

Your tasks include

  • Drafting and revising contracts with partners; developing the best legal structure for new collaborations (e.g. with other FinTechs or established companies/brands)
  • Ad hoc assignments/questions from numerous areas of law from within the company
  • Monitoring the legal situation and preparing of overviews for the management
  • Legal secretary to the board of directors
  • Organization and implementation of the Annual General Meeting (GV)
  • Participation in the meetings of the Board of Directors
  • Special assignments from Management and the Board
  • Further development of ICS and risk management
  • Further development of legal processes and structures

About the role

We are looking for a talented and experienced Zoho Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. Your position and work will be essential to help us to implement innovative, customer-oriented and highly automated processes. This is crucial for us to achieve cost leadership through automation as well as fulfilling today’s customer expectation of being able to manage one’s insurance products in a fully automated way. You will be using industry leading process automation tools, and will have to directly consume / interact with the APIs of our core insurance system.

Your task will be to challenge existing processes, identify automation potential as well as how processes can be made more customer-friendly using ZoHo Flow, ZoHo CRM or other suitable tools. You will be working directly with our operations team and will also interact with our Technology & Innovation department. You will be directly exposed to the management of a large IT project in a leading Swiss insurtech. Further, you are given the opportunity to prove and expand your analytic, technical and coding prowess, as well as the opportunity to have a direct impact on defining our insurance product and have a market impact.

What we are looking for

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience, ideally within the insurance sector.

  • Exceptional analytical skills, capable of synthesizing complex information to guide big-picture strategies and attention to detail. 
  • A passion for driving change in the insurance industry, with a keen interest in contributing to a leading Swiss Insurtech firm. 
  • Excellent communication abilities and proficiency in handling intricate data sets with Excel. 
  • A commitment to precision and quality, coupled with the agility to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced setting. 
  • Resilience under pressure, with a talent for managing tight deadlines and adapting to evolving priorities. 
  • Proficiency in Excel is essential, and expertise in IT programming, particularly in PowerQuery and Python, is highly preferred.

About the role

As a claims handler at Toni, you will play a central role in our claims management and contribute directly to the optimization of processes for our customers. This position offers you the unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the dynamic world of InsurTechs and contribute your practical experience in an innovative start-up environment.

What you can expect

  • Independent, proactive processing and handling of complex national and international insurance claims in motor vehicle, property and liability insurance
  • Proactive contact with the parties involved in the claims handling process (injured parties/claimants, experts, underwriters, legal, compliance, etc.)
  • Claims handling, in particular determination of cover and liability as well as analysis of the scope of the claim, timely identification and securing of worthwhile recourse, recognition of fraud cases as well as all entries and processing in the system
  • Ensuring a careful assessment and formation of risk-appropriate provisions in compliance with applicable best practices
  • Ensuring a consistently high standard of customer service
  • Regular exchange with underwriting for the further development of policies and coordination of individual customer support
  • Suggestions for further development (automation) and improvement of our IT platform

What you bring with you

  • Experience in claims processing, ideally in the motor vehicle, property and liability insurance sectors
  • Knowledge of insurance law is an advantage
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Very good communication skills in German, both written and verbal (English is an advantage, but not a must)
